Shop Local

AIGA Charlotte wants to help support local designers. One way you can do that in the month of December is buying your holiday gifts directly from designers. We’ve compiled a holiday gift guide with some of our favorite prints, shirts, jewelry, and books produced by designers who call Charlotte their home.

Human Shaped Robot

Human Shaped Robot is a one man screen printing studio producing high quality posters. Designed and hand pulled in his state of the art, single car garage studio, these prints are as humorous as they are well-crafted. Sure to look good in a home or office.

MAX100

The Max100 project began as a late night personal project for Matt Stevens, but soon morphed into extensive Kickstarter campaign to celebrate “the greatest shoe ever made.” The book, filled with a hundred interpretations of this iconic shoe, is available for preorder. A perfect gift for sneakerheads and design fans alike.

Inkefx

You might remember seeing Jake Mize’s shirt company featured here a few weeks back. His new line has been selling fast, but there’s still time to pick up a shirt for the stylish folks in your life.
Jake’s providing a special AIGA discount code for 15% off your purchase! Just use “AIGA” during checkout.

Greg Newman Artwork

Pieces from Greg’s NFL Project are now on sale as high quality giclee prints, for the guys and gals who love it when art and football overlap. Be sure to check out his Dribbble page to see how these pieces came to life.

Not Made In China

Why not give the gift of laughter to your friends this Christmas? Nikki Mueller’s buttons make perfect stocking stuffers. The best part is, even if your friends are spread out all over the Southeast, there’s bound to be a button that pokes fun at their region.

Check back soon. We’ll be posting five more great local designers and their wares later this week!
