Expressive Lettering is the art of dressing the messenger. Because it's not just what you say, but how you say it.

This workshop will teach attendees how to draw letterforms that are consistent and structurally sound, and apply this to a dynamic piece of lettering. Drawing supplies and 32-page limited first edition workbook included with ticket. The workshop is limited to 30 seats to ensure one-on-one feedback. Familiarity with drawing is helpful, and all skill levels are welcome!

Kyle Letendre is a freelance lettering artist, illustrator and designer based out of Chicago. Born and raised in the suburbs of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and attending to college in rural Iowa to pursue a Vocal Performance degree. There Kyle discovered he was much more excited to run home and draw than he was to practice music. After moving to Chicago, Kyle obtained a BFA in Graphic Design. Since graduating he’s had the pleasure of working with Delicious Design League, Firebelly Design and Superfly before branching out into full-time freelance in March 2017 where he specializes in crafting bold, expressive lettering and illustration for global brands and small businesses alike.
