AIGA Charlotte and CRAFTED continue their efforts in spreading GUTS to other cities utilizing the AIGA National network. AIGA Charlotte has been instrumental in this effort enabling more children in the Make-A-Wish network to receive wishes. In addition, AIGA continues to support GUTS Charlotte again this year for the 10th annual pumpkin carving competition. All proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish® Central & Western North Carolina.
Make sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, October 21st. The event will be held on that date at BB&T Ballpark, with carving starting promptly at 2:30 pm. Participants can carve as individuals or in teams of two or three. Registration opens on Thursday, September 21st at gutscharlotte.com.
Parking:
Parking will be free of charge for Carvers and Guests and provided by Preferred Parking. Carvers will be able to unload their pumpkins and supplies at the unloading station on Martin Luther King Boulevard - where there is access to an elevator if needed. A GUTS representative will be out front to direct and assist.
