Please note this month's buzZ will be the second Wednesday of the month because of the 4th of July holiday.
There was a time when designers and developers were two different groups of builder. But more recently they have become two sides of the same coin. And some have even begun cross training to blur that line even further. But it begs the question, where do the two meet? In their own fields they can do great work but how can the talent from both be harnessed to build a great thing together? How does a developer-designer duo come together to achieve the insanely great? Join us as we discover the perceptions, expectations and complements that can make this happen.
Please join Zach Thomas, a Web Developer with designer and server-side experience. He has been crafting websites and mobile applications for companies large and small as a freelancer and full-time employee. He is a married father of one creative almost three-year-old boy.

About BuzZ
AIGA Charlotte BuzZ is a meet-up event geared toward Charlotte area creatives and small business owners/employees. Please come join us for coffee as we discuss a different topic each month. Come to learn or come to share the knowledge you already have. Either way, just come see what all the BuzZ is all about.
About The Spoke Easy (BuzZ venue sponsor)
The Spoke Easy is all about the joy of riding a bicycle. They design and build custom bicycles and offer a gathering space for cyclists and designers. Remember the thrill of riding your first bike, the pumping of the pedals, and the wind through your hair as you set out on an adventure around the block? They want to help you experience that all over again and make cycling a part of your daily life—no stretchy pants required. And while they’re at it, they will build a community of like-minded individuals eager to celebrate all things involving two-wheeled transportation.
