If I could schedule anyone for an AIGA Charlotte event, it would be: Debbie Millman. She’s more than just a designer—I want to know how she does it all! And it’d be nice to hear more prominent female perspectives from our field.

My favorite AIGA event was: 2008 AIGA Gain Conference in NYC featuring Michael Jager and Malcom Gladwell, who were both amazing.
If I could schedule anyone for an AIGA Charlotte event, it would be: Peter Saville. He’s lead an amazing creative life and is known for establishing the visual aesthetic for Factory records back in the late 1970s and 80s.
Don’t forget, always: Work hard, treat people right and have as much fun as humanly possible.

My favorite AIGA event was: Letterpress Fest. Learning the skills and hard work that goes into letterpress really opened my eyes to a whole new source of inspiration when printing out my work or invitations. I learned countless tips and guidance from each speaker invited.
If I could schedule anyone for an AIGA Charlotte event, it would be: Ceci Johnson. An extraordinary invitation genius!
Don’t forget: Your support group, your fellow colleagues, professors and professionals who helped mold you into the designer you are today. You may have built your own brand or company but they helped lay the foundation.
